    Functional Responsibilities:


    ISYS Technologies is hiring a Quality Engineer.




    • TS/SCI 


    Job Duties: 

    • Analyze measurement data to ensure quantitative measurement effectiveness and to eradicate defects
    • Plan, manage and perform process and product evaluations (audits)
    • Monitor the product development including requirements allocation, architecture, design, development, integration, test and acceptance of products and solutions
    • Drive and manage process improvement
    • Perform appraisals on parts requests to determine inspection methods for parts and subassemblies




    Experience Requirements:


    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.)
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experienced with peer reviews of software, systems or documents
    • Process auditing experience
    • Process and performance measurement: developing, collecting and analyzing metrics
    • Knowledge of lean six sigma
    • Knowledge of Clearquest, the Inspection Tracking Tool (ITT) or a defect tracking tool
    • Knowledge of software development tools
    • Knowledge of supplier quality techniques for verifying product entering the supply chain and verifying the subcontractor quality management system
    • Knowledge of basic electrostatic discharge sensitivity (ESDS) protection and equipment calibration
    • Understanding of external quality standards such as ISO9001/AS9100
    • Ability to support limited domestic travel
    • Experience testing software in Java and C++


    Desired Experience: 

    • Software development experience
    • Software Quality experience
    • Experience with Agile principles
    • Certified Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt or higher
    • Apollo Root Cause Analysis (ARCA) training or equivalent
    • Proficient with ISO9001/AS9100
    • Formal auditor training
    • Formal metrics training
    • Hardware Quality experience

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
