    Functional Responsibilities:


          ISYS Technologies is hiring a Weapon Systems Manager.



    Job Duties: 

    • Provide liaison between the AOC Commander and the Chief of AOC Systems to ensure approximately 200 AOC Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence (C4I) systems are setup, configured and operating in a manner that meets operational needs
    • Report to AOC Director on implementation and strict compliance of System Program Office (SPO) and MAJCOM CM policies as well as site specific standards on an approximately weekly basis
    • Maintain current as-built site configuration in the CM status accounting tool at the management level on an approximately weekly basis
    • Prepare, submit and monitor approximately five Request for Variance letters for any site variance on an approximately monthly basis
    • Travel in support of operations in support of exercises and experiments that may require CONUS and OCONUS travel
    • Participate in AOC Weapons System Development and Operational Tests
    • Assist the Information Assurance Manager to resolve site security and accreditation issues
    • Serve as the AOC/CC focal point and principle advisor for AOC day-to-day CM decisions, site CRB/CCB meetings and any other CM related duties and responsibilities
    • Establish and maintain strict control of master media and documentation libraries
    • Conduct CM audits and physical inventories
    • Coordinate with site users and develop procedures for submitting enterprise change requests to the program management office
    • Manage and process site request for variances for all configurable items that deviate from the weapon system baseline
    • Establish and conduct initial and annual configuration management training to site personnel





    Experience Requirements:


    • (3+) years of demonstrated relevant experience working with AOC Weapon Systems and familiar with Air Force Instruction (AFI) Operational Procedures – Air and Space Operations Center, secure facility access processes
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated knowledge of Air Force C4I systems, AOC systems and software
    • (5+) years of demonstrated relevant experience in and with all of the AOC WS related communications and computer systems
    • Completion of Configuration Management II course or American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) 649 certification; and
    • Participation in AOC exercises or operations as AOC C4I System Manager or Deputy AOC C4I System Manager
    • Experience supporting AOC operations within classified environments to include Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS)



    Desired Experience:

    • Completion of formal AOC Field Training Unit (FTU) Course prior to hire
    • Air Staff, major command (MAJCOM) or NAF staff experience
    • NIPRNet and SIPRNet network enterprise environments
    • Microsoft Windows operating system software for servers and workstations
    • Solaris operating systems
    • VMWare
    • Oracle software for servers and workstations
    • Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certification
    • CompTIA Security+ CE certification
    • IAT level II certification(s) IAW DoD 8570.1-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement program
    • Completion of a formal C2 FTU AOCIQTSYS and/or AOCIQTNET course or equivalent
