    Functional Responsibilities:

                                                                                  

          ISYS Technologies is seeking a Cyber Systems Training Support Engineer.

     

     

     

    Job Duties:

     

    • Lead a small team in developing and delivering product and scenario based training content
    • Provide support to one or more of the JRSS/JMS (JRSS) development teams to assist SMEs in product build-out
    • Work with product SMEs to develop and deliver training to JRSS users
    • Require both functional training experience alongside strong systems engineering acumen

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years of more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • Familiar with and working knowledge of 2 or more of the following products: ArcSight, TippingPoint, Sourcefire, Argus, Bro, Fidelis XPS, Niksun FPCAP, Lancope, NetCool, InfoVista, and Riverbed.
    • Familiar with Network transport and security architectures
    • Familiar with routing protocols: BGP 
    • Familiar with IDS/IPS signature technologies
    • Familiar with NetOps monitoring strategies and tools
    • Proven ability to work closely with product SMEs and developers to deliver training to users
    • IAT Level II

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
