    Responsibilities

    What we are looking for:

    The Technical Recruiter will work within ISYS Technologies’ Talent Acquisition Division and is responsible for supporting our Government customer’s recruiting goals. The Technical Recruiter will work closely with leadership to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies aimed at recruiting and hiring qualified candidates that meet diversity and overall recruiting goals and objectives. The Technical Recruiter shall assist with conceptualizing, developing, and deploying a Strategic Talent Acquisition strategy to increase qualified applicant hires within national locations. Potential Tasks Include:


    Day in the life of:

    • Discovery of Pipeline - Anticipate and research specific career field needs, as well as build a list of qualified candidates for current and future job openings
    • Talent Pool Analysis – Stay attuned to the geographic labor landscape
    • Target and Engage – Target (Function, Industry, Geography) Engagement (Career Website, Outreach events, etc.)
    • Open Vacancy/Direct to Apply – Assist applicants through the federal application process and stay regularly engaged
    • Maintain metrics on diversity of candidate pipeline, qualified applicants, selection, and retention

    • Flexibility – The ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities and deadlines with a high sense of urgency;
    • Technical Expertise – The ability to use predictive analytics tools to track potential career changes in targeted candidates, as well as web-based recruiting systems (LinkedIn, LinkedIn Recruiter being the preferred systems), internet tools, Google Analytics, and direct sourcing methods to identify applicants;
    • Communications – The ability to clearly articulate the value proposition of a career opportunity. Must be capable of interacting with a diverse group of people (Potential recruits with various backgrounds) with competing interests, priorities, and levels of understanding;
    • Social Networking – The ability to leverage a wide range of social media forums to connect with a vast array of talent, while working within established boundaries of our company network security requirements;
    • Production – The ability to generate recruiting leads that result in achieving monthly placement goals established by the Program Manager and Senior Technical Recruiter; and,
    • Quality Control – The ability to deliver quality candidates who become employed and valued by our customer

     

    Qualifications

    Experience Requirements:

    • Three (3) or more years data mining, database scrubbing, advanced search techniques, name generation list building, and project management

     

     

    Desired Experience

    • Five (5) or more years of technical recruiting experience within the Federal government;
    • Three (3) or more years recruiting using Boolean techniques (Certification preferred), contact lists, social networking sites, alumni boards, niche industry sites, conference lists, etc
    • Demonstrated success in recruiting occupational areas of importance

    Essential Requirements - Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
