    Functional Responsibilities:

                                                                                   

          ISYS Technologies is seeking an Information Operations Assessment Support Analyst.

     

     

     

    Job Duties:

     

    • Provide JS and CCMDs with assessment tools and processes needed and recommendations to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of IO at the operational and strategic level
    • Identify, evaluate and advise on the use of assessment methodologies. Make the methodologies available to the joint IO assessment community by posting information on the IO assessment SharePoint site(s) and hold review sessions as needed or requested
    • Identify and provide summary of tools currently in use by DOD to support the IO assessment function. Assist with projects where IO and IO assessment expertise are, or could be required
    • Visit organizations or support organizational visits to JIOWC to see demonstrations of tools and understand processes in order to support process development and evaluation. Plan and coordinate visits and briefings. Provide leadership updates on efforts related to tools and processes. Assist JS and CCMDs in understanding possible application of tools and processes identified
    • Provide IO assessment subject matter expertise and advice to JIOWC, JS and JIOWC customers
    • Conduct INM Modeling (SIAM, Assessment Influence Module, or other equivalent assessments modeling process and software) training by providing overviews and basic hands on software user training
    • Work closely with JS and CCMD staff to ensure plans contain metrics for assessment of intended operation
    • Travel to provide IO assessment, reporting and modeling support may be required
    • Build, review, analyze, and update assessment models. Facilitate and debrief IO assessments
    • Develop and assist in the development of IO assessment plans, events, questions and related cycles
    • Develop sample IO assessment plans and sample descriptions of IO assessment-related cycles. Research and identify useful samples for JS and CCMD IO assessment plans and obtain copies of the IO assessment-related cycles to improve IO assessment plans, cycles, and processes in use by the DOD
    • Work with the CCMDs, Services, the JS and other government agencies to help develop, refine and maintain detailed description of the joint IO assessment process to create standardize IO assessment processes across the joint assessment community
    • Analyze and interpret collected data for IO assessments
    • Compile CCMD IO assessment programmatic data for required periodic assessment reports
    • Generate, correct, and improve the consolidated periodic reports. Compile and review IO assessment periodic summaries. Compare newest quarterly IO assessment programmatic data with previous reporting
    • Generate, correct and improve an annual IO assessment report. Compile and review CCMD IO assessment yearly summaries. Compare current year IO assessment programmatic data with previous year reporting
    • Advise on development of assessment-related intelligence requests for information (RFIs)
    • Facilitate and participate in operational and strategic IO assessment activities
    • Analyze, interpret and report on IO assessment activities
    • Facilitate operational mission assessment of IO actions

                                                                                                      

     

    Qualifications

    Experience Requirements:

    • Five or more years’ experience in joint or service IO or IRC-related field, preferably in support of one or more CCMD (USAFRICOM, USCENTCOM, USEUCOM, USNORTHCOM, USPACOM, USSOCOM, USSOUTHCOM, and USSTRATCOM, or the former USJFCOM, USSPACECOM) or a CCMD service component (e.g., US Army Europe)
    • Five or more years’ experience with joint IO planning, assessment, integration or synchronization in support of one or more CCMD, CCMD service component, or USG agency
    • Five or more years’ experience presenting and developing documents, reports and briefings for senior leadership
    • Five or more years’ experience with Joint Operations Planning System (JOPS) planning
    • Five or more years’ experience with Influence Network Modeling (INM) using Situational Influence Assessment Module (SIAM) software or other decision-making/modeling software to model complex problems and data sets
    • Three or more years’ experience using various decision making and modeling techniques
    • Three or more years’ experience interfacing with higher level management or organizations (personnel will interface with representatives of CCMD HQ’s, Deputy Director of IO, and other government agencies)

    Essential Requirements - Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
