    Functional Responsibilities:


          ISYS Technologies is hiring a Special Access Programs (SAP) Security Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for all duties related to being a SAP Security Officer at program including security oversight, database maintenance, and facility accreditation.



    Job Duties:

    •  Ensure SAP level information is properly classified, accounted for, marked, and audited as specified; and  The Government’s database is properly maintained and up to date including reflecting all required information and accurate control and inventory of all SAP information/material as specified

    • Review Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Orders, evaluations, appraisals, and other various correspondences to assist the Government with determining appropriate classification

    • Perform specified tasks to assist SAP Security Officers with security oversight, management, and control 

    • Submit program requests, conduct indoctrinations and debriefs, perform database maintenance and assist with database management functions, and assist with conducting physical security checks of accredited facilities, and other related specified tasks.

    • Assist with preparing and maintaining SAP accredited facilities files including an up to date and accurate database with all  SAP accredited facilities, support information, and documentation related to the all SAP accredited facilities to ensure regulatory standards and requirements are met

    • Directly assist Government personnel conducting on-site physical security inspections of SAP accredited facilities including identifying physical security deficiencies, documenting observations, and the preparation of a report detailing said inspections.




    Experience Requirements:


    • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience and/or knowledge of security concepts, principles, and practices to plan and implement security procedures from Department of Defense, Joint Staff, Services and national intelligence agencies including knowledge of required non-SAP security training programs to meet needs of multiple security disciplines (Personnel, Industrial, Physical, Information, etc.)
    • Communicating with senior leadership through clear, concise, and technically accurate verbal exchanges and written materials.
    • Establishing and maintaining effective professional working relationships with civilian, military and other contractor personnel, thereby contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
    • Utilizing desk-top computers, current commercial software (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite), databases, and printers to prepare, improve, maintain, and produce specified briefings, correspondence, and personnel databases, for internal/external use.
    • Mission-Specific Qualifications. Contractor personnel performing on the requirement shall possess at least five (5) years of relevant experience
    • Utilizing and applying Executive Orders, DoD, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS), service, and agency directives, regulations, and instructions governing security of facilities, communications equipment, personnel, and computers.
    • Successfully performing in and among high level organizations within the DoD or other US Government agencies including combatant commands, Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense, combat support agencies or other relevant USG departments, agencies, and organizations.
    • Ensuring database information and work product is technically correct, accurate, and complete and preparing and presenting briefings and comprehensive reports to senior staff. 

    Desired Experience:


    • Proven staffing skills; practical experience and expertise with high level organizations within the DOD and other US Government agencies

The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
