Responsibilities

 Functional Responsibilities:

 

ISYS Technologies is hiring an Electrical/Test Technician.

 

 

Job Duties:

 

  • Repair, replace, and rebuild electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools, and applicable test equipment
  • Fabricate harness and electrical assemblies
  • Read and interpret manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to accomplish work
  • Work under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician
  • Perform logistics activities such as lifting and moving of hardware related to shipping, receiving, installing and maintenance activities

 

 

 

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

 

  • High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned electrical and maintenance tasks and 3 Year of experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams, and experience in troubleshooting, cable assembly and test
  • Experience in utilizing electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes
  • Very good technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present and communicate effectively to a broad technical community
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team setting
  • Experience in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools and applicable test equipment
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings and technical manuals

 

 

 

Desired Experience:

 

  • Familiarity with Test Laboratory test operations and procedures
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, and Supply Chain Management
  • Knowledge of Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
