Functional Responsibilities:


ISYS Technologies is hiring a SharePoint Support Analyst.




Job Duties:


  • Provide technical support for the existing SharePoint implementation, perform content migration to the Enterprise SharePoint (NESS), and maintain/update web pages and graphics
  • Provide technical support for the  office-wide SharePoint repository
  • Update the SharePoint site content with relevant meeting minutes, action items, or other information related to the projects, per direction
  • Provide necessary training, documentation, and communication with the impacted user community to encourage adoption and use of the SharePoint repository
  • Support ongoing operations, maintenance and sustainment of the  SharePoint instance prior to migration 
  • Support periodic systems administration of existing graphics, Web and SharePoint systems, as well as incremental upgrades, technology insertion, new development and general improvements as required and as funding permits
  • Support activities related to the migration of the loca repository to, including metadata mapping, document transfer testing and verification, and user functionality testing. Initial focus will be on legacy mission holdings, but will include support for next generation series mission documentation as the systems are transitioned to operations
  • Support users of the Technical Library to include preparing, evaluating, preserving and searching of technical documentation using online tools (e.g. SharePoint), managing the hard copy (offline) document databases, responding to user questions via email, phone, or in person, and working with the  International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) representative in the disposition of requests involving ITAR or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) Export Control restricted documents

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
